Background

Hazel Glen College, a progressive P–12 school located in Victoria, is committed to providing diverse learning pathways that prepare students for future success. As part of its ongoing investment in vocational education, the College identified a growing need to increase the number of qualified trainers and assessors within its teaching team to better meet the diverse needs and interests of students.

With limited-time funding support available through the Victorian Department of Education, the College partnered with TAE Academy to upskill a select group of teachers through a targeted, practical training solution.


The Challenge

The Solution

TAE Academy designed and delivered a face-to-face program to support a small group of Hazel Glen College teachers in completing the TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set.

The program offered an engaging, collaborative learning experience that blended theory with practical application. Teachers participated in sessions that modelled real-world assessment processes and were supported through each stage of their qualification journey.

TAE Academy’s trainers worked closely with participants to ensure every teacher could complete the required practical assessments within the funding period, providing responsive support and clear guidance throughout the process.
