Who is this for?
The Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) is the current version of the qualification prescribed by the Department of Education and Training as the minimum requirement to train and/or assess accredited Vocational Education & Training in Australia. Along with relevant vocational qualifications or competence, this qualification enables individuals to train and/or assess VET subjects in (Secondary) Schools, TAFE institutes and Private Registered Training Organisations (RTO) nationwide.
As one of the first providers approved to deliver this qualification in Australia, TAE Academy offers nothing but the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, ensuring it invests all of its time, energy and effort into developing and delivering Australia's best TAE programs.

This program is designed for vocationally qualified or skilled Teachers who have been asked to, or are intending to, deliver a VET program within their School.
Participants who successfully completed this course will have developed the skills and knowledge required to:
- work within an accredited, competency based training framework
- work within the Vocational Education & training quality framework
- design and develop robust and rigorous assessment tools
- plan and conduct assessments of competence of individuals
- validate the effectiveness of all resources and outcomes
The online program is recommended for Teachers in remote or regional locations, or those who simply cannot attend face to face training. If you possess a high degree of self-direction and self-sufficiency, this learning option may be suitable for you.
The online option allows self-driven participants to work through the learning and assessment activities in a self-paced way, at a time and in a location that is convenient to them.
Having said all that, you don't have to go it alone!.....all TAE Academy online learners are supported by an assigned trainer/assessor, who will be available to aid in the clarification of content and assessment tasks as required.

Taking into account previous education and existing skills and knowledge, we expedite the topics;

- Designing and Delivering Training
Focusing more on the VET specific elements and competency based assessment.
The in-class time centres on the learning, as well as explaining and clarifying the learning and assessment tasks which are to be completed between classes in participants' own time.
